I don't think it would to be that dissimilar from the league 1 but the quality within squads is greater in the AL - so you may come up against someone above L1 level in a game at the same time you will likely come up against someone maybe not at L1 level. The number of games at league 1 probably put a certain strain on squads that you would not experience here.

A metric, opta power rankings, puts 5 alm teams in the 24 for L1, and for instance Perth basically equivalent to bottom of L2
