When it comes to James the Phoenix staff and players all know James very well and will know exactly what issues have hindered him making it further than bouncing around lower leagues in Europe.  The fact that we have not signed him, or not been seen to approach him speaks volumes for the feedback from those that know him.

He played NSWPL a few seasons back and at no stage was he linked with an Aus club.

Hope he is massive for Sedan though.

Apart form the Nix, was he ever going to land a contract seeing as he would have been a foreigner and had just had a bad spell with injuries at the time?

We all know that his fitness/attitude in '09 let him down with Gouldy and Herbert but that should not, and as seen recently in the AW kick-about, not created friction between him and the other players.  It also should not affect current Nix staff/owners.

What happened 5 years ago should not have had any influence on Merrick and the Nix of '14.  If it did then there is something wrong with the club and certain players in the team (Glen and Ben?) showing bad form if they put up with the likes of Gao, Hernandez and Pavlovic etc.

Good luck James.

some people tend to forget that certain players perform better at international level than club level. He may be one of those players.

If he was such an arsehole/distruptive personality/nonce/back-stabber surely he wouldn't have been picked for the All Whites.

There's a cool little website http://www.ardennestv.com/ardennes-tv.html which screens 10 min odd sports news shows (mainly CSSA).

A basic website where, when visited, begins video stream.

Has highlights of their games and training.

In French. Find it meditative.

Streams CSSA games live (haven't seen any). Go to the site and there's a "live" button above the screen.

Not getting much of a look in - only four substitute appearances and 84 minutes playing time so far in Sedan's eight league games. Wasn't even on the bench for two league games (on the bench for six, appeared in four):

Chris still not getting much of a look in  - only one more appearance in a league game since the above comment and his appearance on October 18, taking his season's league appearances for Sedan to five:

 http://int.soccerway.com/players/chris-james/31491...

In his most recent appearance on November 1st he started and played 75 mins in the 2-3 home loss to Amiens.

Sedan lead the CFA (fourth division) table on goal difference with the same points as Quevilly.

You have to wonder 1: How much he is concerned 2: How much Hudson is concerned and 3: Most of this is of James' own making one would assume if rumours are true. Is he likely to now change?

CSSA lost in the 8th round of the french cup competition. James wasn't in the squad.

Team is first in the league, one point ahead of Quevilly.

Possible royal investment?

Besides visiting several companies Ardennes nephew of Saudi prince part in a stage Dugauguez press conference attended by leaders of aHsC Marc and Gilles Dubois. To a partnership with the aHsC? It is the hope of Sedan leaders but also communities General Council and town of Sedan, working for two seasons to keep the club afloat with an investment of one million euros per year.

Last appeared for Sedan on November 29 as a 79th minute sub vs. Dieppe.

Only one start and five sub appearances all season.

Struggling to make it in the French Fourth Div.

"Gâchis" :D

I was also surprised when he signed for Sedan. Sedan is not a bad team, it used to be a professional club and was even in first division a few years ago but encountered financial issues, but it's now amateur. I think that James should go back to Finland and play in the local first or second division.

Team won promotion to the 3rd tier of French football, still with 5 matches remaining.

James has scored 5 goals for the second team.

If the team is interested in keeping him on, you would think he would play in the games left.

If he's only made one start and five sub appearances for a fourth tier team (and no first team apps since November 29) you'd doubt they'd consider him good enough for the third tier of French football...

Unless he's had injury issues?
