He sounds a bit like Beckham.

Looking fit.  What would it take to get him back in white?

To begin with, probably injuries/suspensions to most of McGlinchey, Thomas, Tuiloma, Lewis, Hudson-Wihongi, Dyer, Ridenton, Rufer and Tzimopoulos. Personally I would have him at the base of midfield ahead of all of them, except maybe Tuiloma.

You'd think that prejudices aside, the only players in that list genuinely ahead of him are WeeMac, Thomas, Tuiloma, Tzimopoulos and even some of them might be lesser then him.

Dyer should not even have a cap yet   :-S

I thought he might have been a huge wanker but from the video nothing really points to that.

Second tier of American football, not bad. They recently made both the USL and NASL (American leagues) be equal, both being the second tiers.

Happy for him and I hope he does well.

Sounds very messy with how the lower US leagues, are now setup. But yes the likes of Musa, James, Wynne & Colvey (when not required by his MLS team) will all effectively now be playing in the 2nd tier, with USL (30 teams) upgraded from 3rd tier to equal 2nd tier status with NASL (8 teams).

Presume Colorado Springs are a feeder team to the Colorado Rapids MLS franchise?   If so and James shines in the USL, might be a chance of getting some MLS playing time.

Anyway would think playing Stateside, would have him a bit more on Hudson's radar - given the gaffer would already be closely monitoring the form of Gleeson, Wynne & Colvey.

Good need for him and hopefully will be more in the eye of Hudson. Would like to see him back with the all whites

Is he realistically a better option than Moses Dyer, Rufer, Tuiloma and co?

and how fit is he? I remember Ernie looked at him and told him to slim down and speed up?

Hes done that and neither of those suggested can push the ball around like him

Hope he does well then!

Sounds is in a good space. No idea on his form, fitness etc, but just would think his experience would come in handy for some of the big AWs games coming up. Even if just on the bench

Risk that some of younger kids will 'freeze' in front of big unfriendly crowds overseas

James plays full 90 mins, and picks up a yellow card, as Colorado Springs start their season with a 1-4 loss away to Tulsa Roughnecks.

Neither Henderson (Indy Eleven in NASL) or Musa (Swope Park Rangers) in the match day squads as the US lower leagues start their season Stateside.

Plays full 90 min for Colorado Springs who draw 1-1 at home to OKC Energy.

Hasn't featured in a match day squad for Colorado since 13th April (when he scored a goal). Presume injured?

Still injured?

Bring him to the Nix to trial if fit - he can play the DM role effectively and won't be an import.

We've signed a DM...

But who else can play it? Also, he can play the box to box role IMO.

OFFICIAL: Chris James has officially been released from the club.

    NOOOOOOOOOO WHY

  1. You have to be joking? I've only heard positives from him and now he's leaving?

Be interesting to know his reasons for leaving Colorado, given rumours he is a bit of a 'problem child'. Don't see him being on radar of either Hudson or Nix.

Money is on another Scandanavian lower league stint.
