Danish 2 Division and Kolding IF(3rd tier) resumed their league campaigns today with a 0-0 draw at home to Akademisk BK.

Wilkins started and was listed as mediator (Captain or Vice Captain perhaps?) in the team lineups. Scant details from my football websites on details of the match, but they'll come to light in due course I'm sure.

Next up FA2000 next weekend, but Wilkins will be away on All Whites duty for that one.

Mediator may mean loan player?? Which if it does, they need to update their player profiles. Wilkins now being a permanent signing at Kolding ie no longer on loan from Helsingør

Mediator is an engineering consultancy business based in Kolding, and has been one of their biggest sponsors of the club for the past 20 years. From his announcement in January on Kolding’s website it sounds as if Mediator are sponsoring Wilkins/funded the move to the club to make it more financial.

Back to club football in Denmark with Kolding IF against Skive. Not long to go in this one. Currently 0-0 with a few minutes left.

Kolding down to 10 men from just after the half hour mark. Wilkins heavily involved in the play so far based on Twitter. But so far only a yellow card for his efforts.

These Scandinavian's are obsessed with sex, all this talk about pulling off clothes and stomping…. Even their posters (messages. above this one has SLUT as a heading… I wonder what their Kiwi mothers think?

Replaced at 62 mins, in a 0-0 with Brabrand (8th). Picked up a yellow prior

Kolding (10th, 1 spot above the drop zone) have had five 0-0 draws in their last 6 games! You'd need to be a diehard to watch them play.

Danish 3rd tier has now split into a top & bottom 6.

Kolding (8th) host the schoolboy amusingly named  Middelfart (11th).
Wilkins starts.

Edit - Kolding with a 3-0 win. Full game Wilkins

6 rounds left. This league doesn't finish until mid June. But likely Wilkins will be released earlier no worries for AWs (if picked). Kolding at no real risk now of Relegation. 12 pts clear of the drop and in good form. Unbeaten in 9 games since league resumed early March (lots of draws though)

Converts from the spot early on (another kiwi tasked with penalty duties!) but ultimately in vain as FA 2000 win it 3-2.

Kolding (8th) with a 2-1 win at FA 2000 (10th). Kolding with nothing to really play for.

No Wilkins in match day squad. Maybe gone to Marbella to be the 2nd LB at training until de Vries arrives around the 31st May?

Still 4 games to go in the Danish 3rd tier (11th June finish)

Kolding (8th) win 2-0 at Brabrand (10th).

Wilkins a 64th min sub (score 1-0).

Wilkins and his team mates nothing really to play for. Well safe from relegation. Their form has been strong after the mid winter break, with only 1 loss in 13 games.

Kolding (8th) travel to Middelfart (11th). Middelfart fighting hard to avoid relegation. Wilkins starting.

Penultimate game for the season. Last game is June 11th, so Wilkins will have time to jump on a plane to Doha to watch his AWs mates.

Edit - Middelfart win 3-2. Wilkins off at 78 mins (Middelfart leading 2-1)

Hopefully Kolding can get promoted next season, you'd like to think Wilkins can do better than Danish 3rd tier. I think he signed a 3 year deal, so you'd hope that's because the club have some ambition. They were in the 2nd tier 1-2 seasons ago.

Subbed on at 70 mins. Provides the assist for first goal in a 2-0 win. Also picks up a yellow.

70' In connection with the corner kick, we replaced Dalton Wilkins on the field for a bruised Jacob Torp.

84' Dalton drives the ball forward brilliantly and finds an onrushing Tobias Sommer who coolly puts the ball into the goal!

89' The forward Dalton Wilkins receives a yellow card
