Kolding (3rd, 44 pts) with a 2-1 win over
B 93 (2nd on GD, 47 pts).
So Kolding right in the promotion mix. They are unbeaten (5W & 1D) since the Danish 3rd tier resumed after the long winter break.

Wilkins on the bench for this game. No idea if he came on. But for his AW chances this WC cycle he needs to be at a higher level.

First goal of the season for Wilkins. 1-0 after an hour played.

It's tight at the top in that promotion group. Would be great if Kolding could make the jump up to the Danish 1.Division next season. 🤞

Kolding (3rd, 50 pts) go on to win 1-0. Big goal from Wilkins, as his team chase promotion (top 2 spots)

Aarhus Fremad
(1st, 54 pts) unfortunately also won. But B.93 (2nd, 51 pts) currently trail 0-1 at HT in their game.

Edit - B.93 lost so Kolding close within 1 point of the promotion spots. 8 rounds left, comp doesn't finish until 17th June!

From Flying Kiwis.

Also amongst the goals in this banger-filled edition was Dalton Wilkins. Picked off a bad clearance by the opposition keeper and then stormed forward before lashing into the net. It was the only goal in a 1-0 Kolding win against AB which has them up to third on the ladder, just one point behind the second automatic promotion spot with eight more championship round matches remaining. Sadly the only video of it seems to be paywalled (giz a buzz if you're rich or can figure that out) but regardless it was a massive goal in the context of their season.

Unfortunately Kolding (3rd) lose 0-2. Blow to their promotion chances
Wilkins started.

Hopefully B93 (2nd) who are only 1 pt ahead lose their away game tonight. Is 5 teams currently all in with a shot at going up

Kolding (3rd, 53 pts) travel to B.93 (2nd, 57 pts).  Big game.
Basically Kolding can't afford a loss re their promotion hopes.

Grabbed an assist for the 3rd and won a penalty for the 4th too.

Apparently he's a real threat with a long throw from that left hand side as well. Seems to generate lots of chances when you translate the Kolding IF tweets.

Massive result for their promotion hopes too, and widening the GD between Kolding (+31) and B93 (+22) and they now host B93 at home next weekend.

Is the one ex Ole grad that could consider a move to the Nix, if Kolding don't get promoted. Replace Marquais if Francis de Vries doesn't come onboard??

Alot of contenders for the no 2 LB spot for the AWs, behind Libby. Mcgarry may have jumped over Wynne now for the June friendlies.

Kolding win 1-0. Wilkins started the game.
Kolding go top of the league, but two teams below them with a game in hand, both 2 pts behind Kolding.

Promotion contest is going to go down to the wire.
