I was gonna put that in actually, but then my own good fudgeing judgement got the better of me
What next for him? He has played in the USA (where Kiwis appear to be the flavor of the month of late) and in Scandinavia where he possibly has connections.
Or is a return down-under on the cards? I've always like him, from his day at TW many years ago.
My money’s on a Scandinavian stay. We saw the same with guys like Steven Old and Henderson
Might join his "Old" mate at Morecombe
Isn't he a player who can cover DM? Do we think he's not good enough, basically?

Based on what? He's barely been seen by anyone here since leaving TW as one of their best players.
Experienced professional - at least worth a look.

I get your point, but he was seen playing plenty of times for LA Galaxy and he was absolute class when called upon. But even then, yeah, it's been ages since he's made an impact.
Maybe some of the more seasoned observers on the forum have seen some of his games for GAIS and could offer an opinion of just how good he is now?

Hard to say how his performances were at GAIS the last two seasons as he was injured most of the time (out for about a year).
But he was pretty good at Falkenberg where he was a regular starter in the Swedish top fliight for two seasons under Swedish legend Hendrik Larsson (50 appearances).
He would have stayed at Falkenberg but rejected what he felt were inadequate financial terms at the end of 2015, despite becoming a local legend after his goal in the last game of the season kept them up.
GAIS are a much bigger club than Falkenberg and were usually in the top flight, so they may have offered Keat more money than the tiny Falkenberg.
Unlucky not to receive any more All Whites call-ups after appearing three times in World Cup qualifiers in 2012-13 under Ricki.
Another Kiwi with his A Licence??
Blast from the past! Remember watching him as a youngster at Newtown Park soon after I arrived in nz..
