Yeah, he is obviously considered a very good leader at West Ham, but how does that mean that he is instantly a better leader than Smith? Until I see more of the two of them on the field together without Nelsen, I think it's impossible to compare the two without knowing them personally and seeing them around the other AWs in camp.


The captain will be selected not only what happens on the pitch, but what goes on off., so what you see on the pitch will mean zip.
Indeed, so my point about us not being able to say who will make a better captain stands, as we don't see the majority of that off field stuff.
