Good on him. 4 Kiwis now in League One (if you count Mata).

Wynne finally out of the USL, which is a dead end street if you have AWs (and 2026 WC) aspirations.

But Port Vale only have 4 games left, and he hasn't played competitive football since early October 2023 (6 months ago) at Charleston. Not sure he can do much. Will he get to meet 'El President' Robbie Williams??

Port Vale are 21st (40 pts), in a relegation battle with Crocombe's Burton Albion (20th, 40 pts) & Cheltenham (22nd, 38 pts, game in hand). Two of the three teams will likely go down.

I imagine Auckland FC will have some interest in 29 yr old Wynne, though it's rumoured they have signed Francis de Vries (also 29). And Corica's confidant Bazeley seemed to pick FDV more often than Wynne, as an AWs squad backup to Libby. Black Knights may want a younger promising player as their 2nd LB.
