They love a Kiwi down San Diego ways don't they?

Hopefully he can pick up the form from early on from the season just gone. Hopefully those niggly injuries don't hamper him too much either.

Kyle Adams starting (so presumably will be the last guy to arrive for the AWs) & Collier on the bench for San Diego.

A 3-0 win. Collier on at 63 mins (1-0) and provides 2 assists for last 2 goals!

Full game Adams.

Assist # 1

Assist # 2

Quality little flick for that 3rd goal to find the run of his team mate.
That'll do his confidence a world of good.

Nice little ground San Diego have. Funny one Collier. With his size it all just seems target man, but he's really a futsal footballer playing on grass.

If he could ever somehow score regularly a decent level, he's be a very handy AW. But that's it he just doesn't score goals it seems above this USL level.

I like to see him in AWs squads think he offers bit more in creativity department then like of Mata and maybe Waine.

He's a winger. We have plenty of those. But we urgently need to develop striker backups to Wood.

Mata gets his chance this window alongside Greive. Lets see how he goes. He's started the season well in Ireland, and if continues that form will go on the radar of League One/Two clubs in the UK. Hopefully he learns a bit off the Woodsman next few days. Get the feeling Waine learns a heap off Wood every time the AWs go into camp.

Collier a full game in a 1-0 loss. I'm sure he & the team will be happy for Adams with his AWs debut today.

Musa 33, Collier 30.

You wonder if either  of them would want to be involved in the OFC league. It would definitely be a cool cap to a USL career. Probably both keen to pick up one more USL contract.

Do you think either would be of interest to the Phoenix? Or would be interested?

Musa might be a similar signing to Salas. Give us experience with midfield/FB/CB cover and some bite. Collier could be a Mileusnic replacement?

If they’re planning to live in the States the money here or in the OFC won’t be an enticement, but if they want an end of career experience it could be a go.

Are they stronger than the boys in the Canada league or in Ireland? Only one way to find out I guess!

Musa was a regular starter for Indy and I’m guessing another USL club will be interested in him

From memory the USL is expanding with more clubs and a 2nd tier with pro/rel between the tiers??

Collier quite different at Indy. Barely played and when he did not that effective

Both will likely have green cards and maybe yes the US is their home long term now. You leave for awhile and ICE makes it tricky to re-enter??
