No. Might be confused with Henderson's team Indiana Eleven which has applied to be part of the MLS expansion.
Actually see that Swope Park (based in Kansas) are only 2 years old, and the feeder USL club to MLS side Sporting Kansas City.

Wynne has not signed an MLS contract yet. He could play for the Whitecaps if they needed to but his contract is with Whitecaps 2 like de Vries

What's the reasoning on deciding Musa is eligible?
Wynne was announced by NZF.
Roux and Burfoot we assume as have been listed as injured/in wider training groups since, and Roux has talked about wanting to play.
De Vries was under a cloud at the same time as Musa last year, but has since had his Fifa nationality listed as NZL.

NZF has said every player that was applied for was granted the exemption. So the assumption is he was applied for.

Someone I know played junior youth football with James Musa and is a family friend of him.
He told me, around last year maybe October? or Somewhere around there that Hudson wanted him to get his eiligibility sorted. That's all I know.

Guessing it is basically an extended trial the way his deal is set up, so not sure he will get any MLS game time. Hope he takes his chance & does enough to get his contract extended. We could use another DM in contention for NZ selection.

how is the deal set up? would they use an international player spot on a player they may not use? i am not really up on the rules in the mls regarding overseas players and would be interested to know.
How long has be been over there? Might be close to getting a green card perhaps.
MLS is different in that you can buy and sell the number of internaitonal players spots you have. Think Minnesota piad $50K to gain a spot to have Boxall filled.

MLS clubs can sell international roster spots to each other, so they are pretty easy to get extra. For example the Whitecaps bought a spot for $50k allocation money in order for Marinovic to sign and another one for 75k yesterday to sign someone else.
