Searle on the pine as well.

4 Kiwis on the pine in the UK (incl all 3 keepers) and other 2 not in match day squads. Damp squid start to the season, unless Waineo gets on & bangs one in.

Huge game form Jamie. Stopped a pen and was dominant all round. Hope he’s given the gloves in the league now.

And good to see how popular he is. That’s a good sign for longevity within a squad. 🤞

What a crock of sharke.

Straight into the XI ahead of Searle as well...

Saw that. Bit rubbish. Would have thought Jamie should have been in now that the other fella is out.
But quite a few are starting to lose confidence with the coach. This might be another example of his odd decision making.

Forest Green lose 2-1 to go rock bottom of the EFL Leagues.

So they loan in a keeper on an emergency basis, but go on to lose both games anyway...

Seems like it would have been better for all involved to have an actual contracted player (Searle) play those games. Even if they go on and lose them both, at least it's going to tell you a bit more about your backup goalkeeper in pressure situations, rather than the bollocks fly by night approach that was taken.

Probably not a good way to build confidence for the youngster either. In fact, it's probably a little deflating seeing the guy in front of you getting injured, and thinking you've got a chance to come in and stake a claim, but then having the club go out of their way to bring someone else in.

Just venting here of course, but I don't believe I'd be alone in thinking this way?

They are crashing out of the football league. Maybe it's better he doesn't play so can't be blamed for this mess which could big time dent his confidence.

Coach criticised Searle’s training performances when asked about the emergency loan signing iirc. Said he wanted to see more

He's not too shabby at stopping these penalties in the Pizza Cup.

1-1 against Walsall currently - 15 minutes remaining in their match this morning.

Forgot they went to penalties if tied after 90. So he's gone and saved two more of the bastards!

FGR win 4-2 on penalties.

Hopefully he's shown the Rovers gaffer enough now for a start in League Two.
