Bollocks. Players leave all the time and no one cares/they say good riddance. What is special about Brockie? he's a nice guy? When Cunningham leaves, will anyone care?

With a local player who is not taking up a visa spot, I would prefer to see him overcome the problems. And there is a certain amount of loyalty involved on our part to a "local" player that might also prefer to play here rather than abroad.  Clearly Brockie is past that stage by now, and a decision had been reached. He still needs to make a living, and I wish him all the success he can get.

With a visa spot player departing, another useful player could be considered to fill the gap and the visa spot. Possibly less loyalty involved.
