I get that. If he was no good this season, and his contract ran out with an off season to find somebody better - then I'd be fine with it (as long as we DID find somebody better).
I was hoping he'd come back to form this season. As it stands, its 7 games in and we are unlikely to find a better replacement, so it is a loss.
I fondly remember his record breaking season here, even if his second season was poor.
What I was referring to are all the "good riddance" "he was crap, thank god" comments from people who supposedly support the team.
I have no problem with players moving on, but I'd like to think we could react with a bit of class for our third highest goalscorer and a player who just over a season ago got the record for most goals in a single nix season.
