hey mods, please change thread title: Železiarne Podbrezová (Slovakian Super Liga)

Looks like Edge played 90 in Podbrezova's 0-2 away loss to bottom (12th) placed MFK Zemplin Michalovce on the weekend.

FK Železiarne Podbrezová: Kuciak – Magda, Podstavek, Bartoš, Turňa – Leško, Baran (64´ Njire), Edge, Breznanik– Mikuš (68´ Viazanko)– Więzik

The guests entered the match with two new players, defending the Substage and defending Edge. The home team struck from the first chance in the 4th minute, when Žofčák Kolesára out of the way and Kuciak crossed the cross. The guests answered in the 9th minute when Bartos came to the corner of Leška, but his head was over. 31 minutes into the match, Žofčák came in from the right, but Kuciak's hands went just fine. At the end of the halftime, guests still threatened the corner kick, before Wiezik tightly prevented the completion of Vascak. In the second half, volley Mikuša, whose shot in the 68th minute ends over the home side, a few minutes later Wiezko could finish Leško more accurately, but he did not miss the next. At 74 '. minute Kurminowski knocked out to 16 hosts and Kuciak shot off. However, the scorer finished with Regali and set a 2-0 home score.

Looks like he's left Podbrezová, who also replaced their manager during the mid winter break in Slovakia.

Sat on the bench for a few games when he first signed on to Lokomotíva Košice. But has started the last 3 matches and completed the full 90 in each appearance as they've gone on a well timed run of 3 wins in 3 to nudge them just out of the relegation zone in the 2.liga. 7 games left in the Slovakian season.

30/3 | Lokomotíva Košice 2 - 0 Poprad

7/4 | Lipany 0 - 1 Lokomotíva Košice

15/4 | Žilina II 1 - 3 Lokomotíva Košice

Has played 8 games for his club in the Slovakian 2nd tier, as season nears the end.

They have 1 game to go, and are nearly assured to survive relegation. Team below them  - Slavoj Trebišov - need to win both their remaining clubs to push Lokomotíva Košice into the drop zone.

I note Edge has 9 Brazilian team mates in the Lokomotíva Košice squad!

Season finished and Lokomotíva Košice, finished safe from relegation at 11th on the table.

Where next for this nomad? Staying in Slovakia, or join his papa & bro in Sweden.

Have bag will travel.

The big negative is that a club in Dutch 6th tier, doesn't hint at much of a future.

I remember an interview in the last 12 months, where he was hoping that he would be on radar of the AWs coaching setup.

He won't be now.

Surely Uncle Declan can have a word to the coach?

After his recent twitter oddball outbursts (to me more Cantona than Trump like), esp those directed at NZF re the U17 squad selection - Hay would be wise, to limit his contact with the mad hatter for awhile.

Be interesting to see if Declan has anything to say on his first AWs selection.

why now? Declan has always been like this, the only thing that has changed is we now have Twitter and to be honest Declan is reasonably sane if you compare him to his father Eddie!

My comment was partly tongue in cheek.

NZF and their employee Hay know only too well, what Declan is like. They know he also brings a huge amount of value to the NZ football landscape. But certainly can't see him ever (if he wanted to), coming into the AWs coaching setup, even though he had a close relationship with Hay at ES.

Your comment on Eddie, makes me think of a good mate who had a crazy GF, I couldn't stand.

him - "But compared to her sister, she's normal"

me - "John she's a nutjob"
