Makes sense, even though the Switchbacks (Colorado Springs) have no official relationship with the Rapids (Denver), ie not a feeder side like many USL teams - as keeps Colvey in the same state.

Unlike Wynne, Colvey has struggled to break into Rapids first team under Hudson. This despite apparently being Rapids fittest player in the pre season. Got subbed at HT in one MLS game, and really not sighted since.

Is a pity as I thought he did a good job, for AWs verus Peru in those 2 playoff games.

Switchbacks (8th Western Conference) play Simon Elliott's Sacramento (4th) this weekend.
