You can watch highlights of the Dartmouth games on facebook if you join the Dartmouth men's soccer fan page. Craig Henderson is also in the team.
Dan Keat has been on fire for Dartmouth. Won Dartmouth sportsman of the week in September and won Ivy League player of the week a couple of weeks ago. He has 7 goals and 5 assists from 12 games.

Kiwi players at Us Colleges thread
I thought this might be a good place for friends and rellies of kiwi players playing in the US college system to post updates on how they are doing.
My brother Tim plays for Fordham in New York. His team got off to a poor start, losing their first five games, but have rallied to win 7 of their last 8 including being 4-0 in the atlantic ten competition, which counts for qaulifcation to the a10 champs and the path to the NCAA champs. Tim has scored 4 goals, including two last week. John N from Auckland city also plays for fordham.
Would be keen for updates on other players
Good idea. Have just relocated this to the right place.
You can't spell Nyonsaba ?
does Kieran Purcell still play for a US college? (if anyone knows who he is)
he was 2 years below me at school, but have played together once or twice. haven't heard anything for ages

Yep. Plays for the Evansville Purple Aces.
Occasionally turns out for Wests when he's back in the country.
i was thinking "man everyone's going to think I'm an idiot if i try lol".
Every chance I have it wrong.

Always like Dan Keat, i take it he's completely over his leg break.
Any of the NZ boys looking like the have a chance at the mls draft picks?

Nice..yeah Tim's not smart enough for the ivey league, which is unfortunate I guess, given how many strong football sides they have. Kent and Henderson are great players.
Well Fordham has been going pretty well...but a draw against mid tabled temple in their division will mean probably a match up against one of the big 3 in their conference playoffs.....most likely Charlotte who have been ranked as high as ninth in the country this year.
Tim has scored 6 goals this season, John N has only one I believe.
To those reading - next time you post about a player, can you make sure you have their first and last name, plus their college so I can cover them in the next Flying Kiwi. Cheers.
How are these boys going:
Dan Keat,Craig Henderson - DartmouthMichael Boxall - UCSB
Nick Roydhouse, Michael Cunningham - Hartwick
Tim Richardson - Fordham
John Nyonsaiba - (thought he was at UNC)

Some of those covered here http://mailer.vo2.co.nz/display.php?M=14277&C=e4e51149760da02f60150d8e0773ab6c&S=177&L=51&N=162
The others we will try cover next time.

Sorry Tim Richardson yeah.....I'll have a look at fordham's result today now actually.
They won 2-0 against la salle so will be seeded third in the atlantic ten division playoffs (the top 6 out of 14 make it). However in reality, they're only really the 4th best team behind Charlotte, Dayton and Saint Louis. Hopefully they can make the semis though. Yoiu have to win your division to make it to the NCAA champs pretty much, unless you are ranked inside the top 40 schools, which they aren't.bennie992009-11-09 10:03:34

John Nyonsaiba is definately at Fordham. James bailey? or Andrew Bailey?
Well they got upset in the first round, But Tim did earn some impressive honours for the season:
from the fordhamsports website"
The Atlantic 10 announced their 2009 Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams and major awards today with three Fordham Rams earning accolades. Sophomore midfielder Tim Richardson (North Palmerston, New Zealand/North Palmerston) earned the top prize as he was selected as the Atlantic 10's Midfielder of the Year, as well as First Team All-Conference. Joining Richardson on the First Team was sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Meara (Yonkers, N.Y./Fordham Prep), while senior defender Mike McTigue (Tuckahoe, N.Y./Fordham Prep) was named Honorable Mention All-Atlantic 10.
Richardson had a superb sophomore campaign, leading the Rams in goals (6), points (14), and game-winning goals (3), which were all career-highs. Most of that damage came in league play with four goals, nine points, and two game-winning goals against Atlantic 10 competition. Richardson is the second Fordham Ram to receive a major men's soccer award from the Atlantic 10, joining former Fordham standout John Wolyniec ('98), who was named the 1998 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year. Betsy Hassett? She's at the Univeristy of California, no?
There are two lads at Canisius College in Buffalo New York Sam Margetts & Regan Steele....played first season 2009 and started most games....not sure of stats or college standing but know they are Div 1.
There is also Colin murphy who is at boston college and could be a good option if Nz qualifies to next year u20 WC in Colombia:
