I really hope his form continues at WSW, if not, the AWs will suffer. I think its clear as day that Kosta's last game of professional football will be the AWs last game at the WC.

Pierre was wrong, it wasn't Macarthur but another Sydney Club, he has the whole Sydney collection now.

I’m less and less sure of that. At the Nix he was a very cunning operator. He looked in top notch physical condition. And his anticipation and experience enabled him to be in the right place. He might be a handy bench option for the kiwi teams or even for some team considering Juan Mata type options! 

Then there’s India and the new Oceania Pro league, and the more nebulous potential a league second division. 

Perhaps the Aussie summer is harsher than the Kiwi one, but currently Kosta has been like a fine wine. There might conceivably be a little more in the bottle yet. Who knows? He clearly thought he might be coming here to retire this time around!

So I guess the Macarthur rumour was bull.

Insane take thinking Kosta only has one year of pro football left after the season he just had and his general fitness record. Lots of players these days are playing into their late 30s and if anyone can do that, Kosta can.

I think martinb is onto it suggesting India as a destination, I can see them paying him better money than he could get in the A-League at the end of next season.

Konstantinos Barbarousis (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος Μπαρμπαρούσης; Machairas, Astakos, 30 October 1980)[1][2] is a far-right Greek politician, member of the Greek Parliament for Golden Dawn from May 2012 until June 2019. 

In 2018, from the floor of the parliament, Barbarousis called for the military to "respect their oath" and arrest Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, and President Prokopis Pavlopoulos "in order to prevent this high treason" about the Prespa agreement that was due to be reached, that was seen as giving out the name "Macedonia".[3] The government of the time reacted to it as a call for a military coup, and a treason investigation was opened against him.[4]

After his speech, Barbousis was expelled from the party and from parliament. 

At the time of his speech, protests had already happened in and out of the country against the Prespa agreement, and there were instances of conflict between protesters and anti-riot units.[5]

At least they’re easy to tell apart: one stands accused of treason, and the other is a politician.

Horrendous miss by Kosta on Friday night - almost certainly cost his side the 3 points - as we weren't coming back from 3 down. His move to WSW has been a real misfire.
Having missed a world cup as a youngster is he going to miss his last chance too?
  

Id say he'll likely go to this WC, if Wood doesn't go then he could well be the starting #9. If Wood is fit then he will be a back up wing or front man.

I guess that is the thing in his favour - the cupboard is very bare. The drop off from Wood to next in line is terrifyingly steep!
