Great move for him as he looks to kick start his professional career.
Made his debut in 1-1 draw verus St Louis. Soccerway unfortunately has his flag as Stars and Stripes. Born in USA?
Married an American. Still eligible for NZ.
As much as I hate relying on twitter for accuracy, his handle and bio are pretty reassuring.
After Saturday’s match, new Toros Defender @kyleadams_NZ spoke about the game and about his goals for the team and himself this season. #WeAreToros #SomosToros pic.twitter.com/7vTjPNFyJM

The accent is a bit all over the show, but he'll get some good game time at RGVFC. Hopefully he'll be knocking on the door for an MLS spot with Houston some time in the near future too.
As a side note, love the home ground for RGV. Brand new build for $18m USD, seats just under 10k.

Man, wouldn't it be great to have a stadium like that?

Far cheaper than what I thought it would be, for a set up like that. Mind you, it's part of a $40m USD development in the area that includes full-service restaurant, concessions, a playground, an amphitheater, practice fields, executive lounges, a sport bar and 33 suites.
Something like that would be brilliant for the Nix!
I'm not an expert in construction, but I would guess that building and compliance costs would be a lot cheaper in the States.
Happy to be proven wrong, but from what I've seen here in NZ, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case!

My understanding is a lot of the construction/tradie workforce are Hispanic, and wages are low.
Guy I know rehabbed (renovated) a home stateside and it was ridiculously cheap - compared to NZ/Oz.
I think the cost of materials is also lower. I mean, look at the proposed revamp of the stadium concourse..I know it's a lot of work, but they're talking 1bn! 1bn!!! Anyway, great wee stadium, how nice would it be eh!
The Hastings Regional Sports Park had an initial $25 million budget for the stadium, track and surrounding turf facilities. I have no idea what the final cost was.
Remove the track, add a large stand and there we would have the 10,000 to 15,000 stadium we need
On the bench as Rio Grande host Sacramento Republic (coached by Simon Elliott).
Played 90 mins in 2-1 loss verus Colorado Springs.

Around same budget apparently as OFC ‘Home of Football’ in St Heliers!!
Played full 90 mins in 2-3 away loss to Seattle Sounders II.
Starting against the Cameron Knowles coached Timbers II in Portland.
A chance to catch up with fellow Kiwis post match maybe
Full 90 mins for Adams, as Rio G lose 2-3 to Timbers II.
Full 90 mins for Adams, as Rio Grande beat Orange County SC 2-0.
Adams playing as a left back.
He might come into AWs reckoning, if that tourney in India happens - and there is a host of unavailable players.
USL is a reasonable level.

Another 90 mins logged in a 0-0 draw verus Reno 1868.
Adams plays 90 mins as Rio Grande draw 2-2 with Fresno.
No Cory Brown at Fresno. Not sighted for a few weeks now.
90 mins in a 0-0 draw with fellow Texan side San Antonio.
90 mins in a 0-0 home draw verus Swope Park Rangers.
90 mins for Rio Grande in 1-1 draw verus Galaxy II
Pretty stingy defence so far so he's probably doing okay.
90 mins for Rio Grande (RGV) as they lose 0-2 to Real Monarchs in USL.
For the first time Soccerway have Adams playing under a NZ flag (rather than USA), which is good news.
He has started 10 of RGV's 11 games this USL season.
Full 90 for Adams as RGV lose 1-0 to Timber II coached by Cameron Knowles.
Full 90 for Adams as RGV (16th place in Western Conference) lose 1-3 to OKC Energy (15th), in Oklahoma City.
RGV lie 2nd to last (16th) after 14 games. Problem at moment is more lack of goals, than leaking them.
4 teams above them on table have all conceded more goals to date than RGV - so Adams and his mates in defence seem to be going okay.
90 mins each for Adams & Musa in the USL, as RGV and Phoenix battle out a 0-0 draw.
Musa a yellow.
Adams dropped to the bench as RGV manage yet another draw in the USL, this time 1-1 verus Tulsa.
That's their 10th draw in 17 games!
Again on the bench as RGV beat Las Vegas Lights 2-0, in USL.
Las Vegas starting eleven had 9 Mexican players according to Soccerway! Coach is from Mexico.
Subbed on at 74 mins as RGV drew 0-0 with Swope Park Rangers.
That’s 11 draws from 19 games.
Again on the bench as RGV beat Las Vegas Lights 2-0, in USL.

Not too much of a surprise, a lot of people with heritage from Mexico/Central America's in that part of the world. Probably much to the chagrin of that great orange Twit.
Other two starters - Carlos Alvarez and Omar Salgado.
Must be an extremely frustrating season for RGV - 11 draws in 19 matches. Pretty good defensive record, just can't seem to put the ball in the back of the net.
Starting against Colorado Switchbacks. Currently 0-0 just on H/T. Kip Colvey not even in the squad for the Switchbacks.
On the bench for 1-0 loss away.
Again stays on the bench as RGV draw 1-1 with Galaxy II.
Plays 90 mins in a 2-0 win over Orange County.
Stays on the bench in a 1-3 home loss to San Antonio.
90 mins in 2-1 win over Real Monarchs.
Monarchs were top, so that loss favours Musa’s Phoenix Rising - both now overtaken by Orange County SC.
