This piqued my interest. Transfer fees of course cannot be paid between A-League clubs, but are there ways to get around that rule? I guess playing a friendly and letting one club keep the gate takings would be the obvious way. I don't know enough about how finances work in the league, but does anyone know of a way clubs could pay transfer fees in all but name?



Maybe we tried to swap them Hernandez but they rejected it.
