Sadly Willem II have signed a new young backup goalkeeper with a great CV so looks hard for Woud to break the matchday squad again

Well Woud has been out injured for a few months now.

Soccerway lists it as a Thigh Muscle Strain.

I think current 3rd choice keeper is only an 18 yr, who has had to step up as backup keeper in Woud's absence. He's been on the bench last 9 Eredivisie games.

So can't blame his club bringing in a more experienced keeper, if Woud is likely to be out for awhile longer.

The Kiwi is contracted out to 2022 with Willem II.
