In goal as Almere (2nd) beat Ajax II, by 1-0.
Almere 4 points behind De Graafschap (2nd), who drew 1-1 with Cambuur (1st).
With only 2 games left hard to see Almere catching De Graafschap for that 2nd automatic promotion spot.

Good clean sheet to keep, although Ajax are 16th because obviously any player who really steps up goes to the first team, today they had young striker Bryan Brobbey. The 19yo is rated as one of the best young strikers in Europe, and is absolute unit as well (his quads are ridiculous). Trouble is, he reached a contract impasse at Ajax so is leaving at the end of the season on a free to Bundesliga title contenders RB Leipzig, so he’s been left in the reserves a bit more by Ajax. He’s a Dutch U21 international and averages an Eredivisie goal every 60 minutes, as well as having 3 Europa League goals, but Woud managed to keep him scoreless and also made a big one-on-one save to deny him.

Ajax also brought on 20yo Lassina Traore, who has a decent 7 goals and 4 assists in just 555 minutes (7 starts, 4 subs) in the Eredivisie, and another highly rated teen in Sontje Jansen, top scorer at the 2019 U17 World Cup. So a bit more than your typical 16th placed Eerste Divisie side would expect to throw at you.
Woud faced a penalty against Brobbey, who promptly skied the ball literally out of the stadium :D
