Already noted in May here

On the instagram account someone says he scored 4...
If he did that... well done!!

He has a couple of gongs to take back to the Academy and Chuck on the CV.
Golden Boot does him no harm as a striker for hire.
Myer returns to the Nike Academy after a successful win in the u20 OFC Championship. The Nike academy is in Russia and so far have played to games. First game was a 3-2 win against K11 Moscow, a team of the best unsigned Russian players. Myer came on as a sub in the 50th but scored no goal. Nike Academy vs K11 Moscow live stream
Second game was against Spartak Moscow u21 with a Myer Bevan scoring a goal.
four consecutive goals in four matches for Myer. Source
Been doing very well for the academy, surely will have a professional contract soon. Would love to see him uptop with Wood for the AW's.

Lets just wait and see for a little longer... aka Dylan Burns
if has no eu passport no uk team can sign him though
They can... but they need approval. It happens, but the club need to be very keen otherwise they won't go through the process.
would be lucky to get a work permit as has not played full internationals. Needs to have played in 75% of senior internationals over last year to even have an outside chance.

Tom Rogic could not get a deal with Reading after impressing at the Nike Academy (a winner in the inaugural batch) due to work permit issues, and reading did take it to a tribunal:

I would imagine it would be difficult
Think we need to let him develop at his own pace and not build him up to fail, Nike academy graduates don't necessarily go on to decent contracts lets not forget Tasmans new striker was an academy star and is now in SS Premiership which arguably Bevan could have done easily bypassing the Academy all together. So far NZ winners have had mixed results from attending global showcase
Stephen Carmichael ACFC when he went, Didn't get picked up when he went to Barcelona came back to City then Waibop now Manurewa in NRFL.
Dylan Burns ACFC when he went, got picked up at St Georges park signs with forrest a week later, 2 years with forest then released after being loaned to Grantham town, City for a week or two then Tasman.
David Browne ACFC when he went. Got picked up at St Georges park turned them down for contract with Pec Zwolle now with FC Groningen both top league Clubs.
Moses Dyer not sure but think he was Onehunga sports at the time, didnt travel to trial due to injury and U20 commitments no Premiership contract after that now at Suburbs.
Myer Bevan ACFC/Springs when he went. Picked up in France currently at Nike Academy.
I'm saying we need to give these players space to develop and not overly pressure them too fast too soon as its a rocky road for these players.
FYI 3-4 players from NZ going to next intake pacific final in Sydney next weekend.
Surley Bevan should be picked instead of Fallon. Myer has banged loads of goals for the academy playing against professional acadesmys while Fallon hasn't socred for a sharky as english team.
Has anyone, anywhere actually landed a decent gig straight from the Academy? It's not well spoken of here in the UK.

Myer with another goal against Sheffield United in a 2-1 win.

I think Thomas Doyle was part of the academy dream - Nike promotion too? obviously at the Phoenix now.
Good luck to Myer. He did well for the U20s outshining Logan Rogerson in that tournament. I like the way he can score even when off balance. the keeper and defence don't think he will shoot but he knows how to take half chances.
If overseas does not work out. A CV. and trial at Melbourne Victory would suit his style. Coming back to NZ would a step down and I'm sure the Phoenix are too myopic to have talked to him about their youth team.
Why would MV want to trial a failed youth player who was not good enough to be signed as an apprentice or reserve during his time in the UK that would also take a visa spot (unless he has Aussie parentage)
I hope he does well, and it appears he's going ok, but if he doesn't get a contract by the u20 world cup expects in the SS comp

Gee I guess I hope for more from him. It is every young players duty to get overseas to a professional environment quoted by Winston Reid. I feel sad about that but have come to realise he is probably right.
Glad to see you hope him well. He looks better than average as a striker so I hope for better than average for him.
I picked MV because of their history of doing well with attacking nz players and they play a great style of attacking football. As you say - either he needs to be better than the locals - or have some Aussie connection.
Be nice if nz players could get an exemption from the foreign player rule - just as the phoenix players have.
Oh yeah - the visa thing too. Some good players don't make in the UK because of visa issues no UK passport. And a trial costs clubs little. They of course don't have to offer him anything afterwards if they think he's pies.
Bevan's back from his break with a hat trick, it is a shame that results of the nike fc games are no where to be seen so all the sources u get are from the player's om instagram and facebook.
Check out this page showing highlights, what a talent he is!!!
He is number 19.
Double for Myer in a win over Derby County, next game agasint chesterfield on saturday.
If u have not checked out Myer's highlights page, i encourage you to do so, includes his goals from todays win.
Myer still scoring a ton of goals, info on matches at the Nike Academy is very secretive so if you would like to follow dyer's progress i suggest u follow his Instagram page, as he regally post about score lines and goals,
Myer finishes the season off with a 3-0 victory against Mansfield town scoring just the one. His goal telly was 25 for the season.
He appears to have had a good year, but still no contract anywhere - has there at least been interest?
