Oi Oi Edgecumbe
It certainly hasn't been plain sailing for him over there.
Weren't rumors at the time that he left the Nix because he wanted to go to Europe and Perth was the only team that allowed him to put a clause in his contract?

With the way the Nix went last season, with a sale of Paulsen, he's likely thinking about what if scenarios. Saying that, he doesn't suit our playing style.

Maybe this is why Bazeley 'dropped' Sail for Tzanev this June window.
Knew Oli was heading for a move or free agent status, and best he concentrate on his club career at the moment??

Certainly seemed a bit strange to drop Sail, when for the Glory's last 2 matches in NZ he was in excellent form. Meanwhile the Bulgarian Kiwi hasn't played for a few months.

It's a whole different level of brutal isn't it, compared to downunder.

I remember the vitriol by Bristol City fans, after Maronivoc's one and done game for them.

Lets hope young Alex P starts well at wherever he goes. Talented as he is, it's still gonna be an adjustment for him.

I am assuming Oli is leaving?

His contract expires next season but so does Cook who is a lot younger. So maybe an early release for Oli? Would take him back at the nix if we offloaded Josh would be a good stopgap/competition for AKH.

According to a very well connected Glory fan, Birra is on a dirt cheap deal. So maybe they run with 3 senior Keepers for the season, whilst trying to offload both Sail & Cook.

Birra wasn't very good in the WA NPL, so even a chance that Sail stays the #1 after the pre-season.

Got to feel for him.

Seemed to be enjoying himself up to that injury, plenty of banter from Shed & other Glory fans.

Yeah that is tough on Sail. He would have had WC ambitions like everyone, and he also had the heart break of that narrow Costa Rica loss as well.

With him out, Tzanev basically now a squad keeper at Huddersfield, and Woud having his calamities of late - it's pretty much a shootout between Sims & Gray for the 3rd keeper spot at the big dance.
