Edit - full game and a yellow in a 1-0 win. Zwetsloot played as a CDM. Last game was a CB. 

Hopefully 22 yr old Zwetsloot has recovered from that bad ACL injury, and got his confidence back. Be nice to see him push on and potentially become an AWs contender, adding to the depth in midfield. But sadly after an ACL some guys are never the player they were, or could have been.

As a side note took a 22-23 yr old Tuiloma about 2 seasons at Portland, to fully establish himself in Timbers first team squad. First season (he signed about halfway in) only in Timbers II side in the USL. Following season still down with the USL team for stretches, before becoming a first team squad regular.

Subbed on in the 81st min (with Revs II up 1-0), in a 1-1 draw.
Then in the gimmicky pen shoot out, Toronto II win shootout 5-3. 
Zwetsloot was not one of Revs II, four pen takers.

Contract option not picked up for 2023 as Zwetsloot joins Unattached FC. 

Wonder if he'll stay stateside or whether he'll head back to familiar surroundings.

Might have a Green Card already as one of his parents (mum?) is an American.
If so you would think a few USL teams would have a look at him. 

He's 23, and that may already be considered old to be with a MLS 2nd (youth) team. Especially if they don't see you being close to the first team, anytime soon.

Knew he'd end up getting another deal, and still at a reasonable level in the USL Championship. Guess we might not see him back as part of a Nix rebuild for next season now, as some had previously suggested.

Good luck to him at Pittsburgh 👏
