Winston was three years older when signed by West Ham - 22 years of age

Who knows what may happen if he stars at the Olympics. West Ham signed a 19 yr old Reid after the 2010 WC.

I'm likely an outlier but I don't mind Bazeley playing Bindon at RB (a position the AWs are weak in). I think it's not a bad way to introduce him to international football, in a position where a bad error is less likely to be punished. I'm sure he will be a 1st choice CB alongside Boxall or Surman soon enough. So lucky he choose NZ over the US.
