Waine's got 36 yr old Lee Gregory ahead of him. A vastly experienced striker who's played for 10 years in League One & The Championship. Gregory with 7 goals in 11 games this season, as Mansfield currently over achieving in 4th spot.
Much as we all love Waineo, and he has a great work rate, he as yet isn't scoring that many goals for the mins he's getting in the UK. Until he does offer more goals wise as a striker, he yeah will be mostly on the pine. But he's still young, time on his side, and he's got a good coach at MT in Clough. Mansfield look a good fit for Waine this season. I mean at 26 Gregory as an example was a non league player still.
