Who knows by January, Reading may themselves be genuine contenders for promotion to The Championship.

Considering the off the field ownership dramas, they are doing very well to be 6th. They win at Sockport tonight and they'll go 4th, overtaking Waine's Mansfield Town.

 If the hugely unpopular Dai Yongge does eventually sell - and you feel he has to at some point - then yeah a return to The Championship becomes an even stronger prospect for Reading.
