That sort of attitude has never really been one that American soccer players have had, so not sure where that is coming from. Eddie Johnson had a bit of it recently with his "pay me" antics in Seattle, but that is about it. American soccer players, given the status of the sport in the country for so long, are generally not the types that you would ever describe as "arrogant." They aren't a bunch of NBA-players masquerading as soccer players. :D
