Looks like Tyler didn't make the first team squad after all for the game Monday last week:

Instead, Tyler was an unused sub for VG reserves at the weekend in the 2-0 away loss to Farense.

Before that he started and played 81 mins in the midweek home win vs. Academico Viseu on 4/11/15

VG reserves lie twelfth on the 24 team Portuguese Segunda Liga (second division) table, equal on points with Benfica and Sporting Braga reserves. They are only five points off third:

You'd think that the second top  league in Portugal would be somewhat better the the ASB Premiership, so you wonder about the reasons for Tyler's non-selection for the All Whites.

Vitoria II don't play again until 22 November.
