Presuming that Boyd is not named in AWs squad for Canada game, could a NZ reporter post squad announcement ring Boyd and actually just ask him his reasons for being unavailable? Seems a pretty simple idea. Andrew V?

Steve Adams has been pretty open about being unavailable for the Tall Blacks, to concentrate on his career at Minnesota. Not saying Boyd is anywhere near the Adams importance level, but be good the know the facts/his reasoning!
