Young Kiwis in UK
Good speed, but needs to realy work on his touch and control"
Ditto for me:I was very disappointed in his play and couldn't believe he was up for the Burnley Academy. Some of his U17 team mates were far more impressive.Still good luck to him
Like others, I was far from convinced based on what I saw in Mexico. However, this will do his confidence and how he is perceived a great deal of good.
It will be 2 years or so before we know if his stint with Burnley will come to owt, but baby-steps and all that.
Good on him. Hopefully he can develop in a professional environment and make his way into the first team.

City have also signed 18-year-old Kiwi defender James Musa, who will join the clubs development squad following the Under-20 World Cup.

It's not as if the Nix would sign a player from a League 2 development squad expecting them to be at A-League standard.
I hope it works out from him but it's probably a step down from the A-League initially. The good thing is it's a development environment, which the Nix just cannot provide at the moment.

What club in NZ did he come from?
The scousers who were playing for Naenae play in the Northern end of that league and one of them plays in the Premier division for Marine FC.

Don't think he played in NZ. He was born in England but has a kiwi mum or dad.
There's also a kiwi playing for Westfield FC named Michael McKnight.. Could it be the same one who plays/ed for YoungHeart Manawatu?

Think this has been brought up before - it isn't the same guy. transfermarkt.co.uk isn't always correct.
The Ross McKenzie playing for Deveronvale was born in 1988. And looking at his history suggests no New Zealand connection.

i played for westfield for half a season while on my Gap year. great little club in Woking if we are talking the same thing. first training session i went to we weren't allowed on the pitch and the training involved shuttles with kegs over our heads, and running around a square of mud like we were horses being broken in, not very glamourous!
They played combined counties south east i htink from memory

Keeper Zach Hibbert made some important saves before the Blues scored their third goal in the 83rd minute, when Ashley Parillon drove home from close range.

Following a successful 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup for the New Zealand U-20 team, James Musa had trials with Bradford City, currently playing in Englands Football League Two. Despite early reports that Musa had signed a 2 year deal with the Bantams, the deal fell through when the Manager, Peter Jackson offered his resignation to the club.
Prestatyn Town 0-2 The New Saints (Fri): Greg Draper and Phil Baker gave leaders The New Saints victory at Prestatyn, hitting the back of the net in the 46th and 86th minutes respectively.
