Good luck to him, but he didn't seem to do too much in the Northern League. Especially compared to a prolific scorer like say Jonty Bidois
Yeah, it has sort of tailed off for him a bit after a prolific year for Melville and the NZ U19's a few years back. Just hasn't quite clicked for him since. No doubt that injury he picked up while trialling at Sheffield Wednesday will haunt him forever and a day - Such is football though...
I am happy however to see a few more Kiwis turning to Scotland as a destination for furthering their football though. I think you only have to look as far as someone like George Stanger (Scottish Lowland >> Scottish League Two >> Scottish League One >> Scottish Championship) to see that their is a viable pathway to making it in the game, and progression is there if you can play regularly and find a bit of form. It doesn't necessarily need to be England or bust for these lads trying to make a career of football.
