Arguably more quality players are lost to other codes than to Europe� in the battle for the best kids this is a huge story.

Actually there is a huge spread across the nation .... I kinda get this feeling we are changing gears and getting ready for the next media deal ... talk over hear is will be more than the NRL but less than the AFL...

Was the NRL deal worth $500m over ten years?

Over six years years..The last media deals went something like this

AFL 780 million 5 year deal
NRL 500 million over 6 years
Football 117 million over 7 year.

The next media deal is due in Hal 9... hopefully will be signed in Hal 8... We are still well behind and rely on owners to prop teams up and the amount we can pay players is also reflected in this .. the hope is the next media deal will be huge. We have lots of product nine international teams, WC / AC domestic competition 14 team / FA cup / Women's league / youth league .. all supported by a professional and well run management team....

Im sorry but there is absolutely no way the next HAL media deal will be worth more than the NRL, not a way in hell
