Howdy Folks

We at the Yellow Fever are looking at setting up a community directory.

The idea is to showcase the various businesses and services that members of the Yellow Fever community have to offer.

The directory will be linked from this site and free for Yellow Fever members.

Anyone interested should email me direct at regan@24web.co.nz or call me on 027 262 2620.

Cheers

Regan Young (aka reg22)

Agreed mum, briliant idea. Security? I might be able to help there and in other ways, depends, not a plummer though or a Sparky. Was a TeleCON Technician Class II though.

What is this? Football's equivalent of the Freemasons?

I can see it now:

"Who are ya?"

"The plumber"

Cue funny handshake. HarryHotspur2008-04-30 20:22:57

I'm a Scarfie down south in Dunnaz. So if anyone needs a student to do some job you can't be bothered doing at a ridiculously high payrate and little output, I'm your man.

Hi there,

I've been the badge guy who has a stall in the left bank off cuba st.  I spoke to him about doing a range of yellow fever badges which could be sold as a fund raiser or just as a cool thing to wear.  It's something that is always sold at the match in the UK and seems to go well.  What do you think is it the sort of business that would benefit from being on the YF community site?

Yes it would, but before using the Fever name someone needs to have a chat with Feverish.

We're a bit protective.

Although in the UK, it's enamel pins - not a pieces of paper and a badge machine.

The "Chartiable fund to house and cloth impoverished freelance designers" is always open for donations ;)

but being serious now, is there a program or something to do with kids and football that could want some extra funding? something in that kinda vain.

I can tell you which roofers to avoid. We had several problems with Triple A. The problem is they subcon all the actual work, so don't seem to be able to control the quality. We had a leak to deal with and they made a mess around the garden that we ended up cleaning up ourselves. It all got sorted in the end, but it was a right hassle.

For house painting, we used a guy that was brilliant. We used him after our neighbours recommended him. I'll get the details off Sharon - or if you see her before I do, ask her for the details.

We also just did our bathroom and the builder we used was really good. I don't know if he's interested in doing garages. Again, Sharon can get you the details.

We have no hesitation in recommending him.

My brother and his better half run a pure dead brilliant local company called Plumbing Systems.

When I first arrived in New Zealand (six years ago) I worked for them and was very impressed with the professionalism of the whole team including the office staff and even the apprentice.

Probably the best plumbers in the southern hemisphere!

By the way, I am not on commission!
