He's never written anything of substance or with good rationale so this effort is hardly surprising. I always used to bypass his column but paid a bit more attention since ca. 14 Nov - only to re-affirm my view that all those headers are now catching up on his synapses (or lack of).

Amusing article.  Love it how he called Muscat's red card a trivial offence.  Should have been 2 games out if it got Oar in the chest or 4 if it got him in the face (camera angle failed) but it certainly wasn't a trivial offence.

But he's spot on, Paston breaking his leg was no coincidence.  MBH broke it himself.

Seriously deluded.  Especially the "AFC nabbed the 'Nix to weaken the All Whites" rubbish - if there's been any change since October, it's been for the better.

It's a big leg pull, he could have made it funnier though.

The thing is that when he tries to be funny it comes across as very pedestrian. It's quite cringeworthy.

If you find any evidence of humour that isn't forced in his column you are more of an optimist than me.
