had to laugh at Johnathan Millmow's comment in the sports year round-up;

Biggest Gripe: Phoenix supporters who fire shots under pseudynoms
(sic) on Yellow Fever's website

 - I couldn't possibly comment as this response is under a pseudonym and I don't want to upset Johnathan so close to Christmas (but in my defence I did send Johnathan an email under my real name congratulating him on a good piece about the WP about a month ago)

But I can!

It's the internet, many people don't use their real name online for safety reasons. YF is probably the only place I use my real name (I think I might have actually signed up with this name in response to that, but that was back in April so I can't remember). And those who do use a pseudonym will probably make the same comments to their friends and colleagues in real life. It's a non-issue, I'm surprised to see it brought up again.

He should join up for YF, and then he can access the personal details of members- to the extent they have made them known.  But in any case names like "Milky Pisswit", "Lysergic Bliss" and "Lonegunmen" are far more interesting than our real names (I think).

What else could he have done?

to me this board is like a pub,

if i'm in a pub and someone likes or doesn't like what i say they don't need to know my name in order to offer an opinion

if they ask my name and I think they are a decent human being i 'll probably tell them my name, but i don't get a megaphone and shout my name out to the whole pub

so Mr Millmow, post your views on this board and if they are credible we will probably accept them

also as in the name example above, there are a few on this board i've exchanged names with via PMs etc or at the Bencher, games, school galas etc

so once again Mr Millmow, join the board, post your views and if they are interesting a few folks might introduce themselves

(interesting that DOMP, doesn't include their name )
 edit - apologies, he does in his profile (and if it was in the profile when i wrote the original post - )

What he said

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

"Being a Partick Thistle fan sets you apart. It means youre a free thinker. It also means your team has no money." Tim Luckhurst, The Independent, 4th December 2003
