Whats the possibility of Yorke coming to the Nix? Cos he would be a decent partner for Smeltzy... Would he want too much for a 2-3 year contract?

no he's not a striker anymore, his legs sadly havent got the pace they used to, still all the passing and experience in the world, so great holding mid, not a striker

He was on a football TV show here in Aus saying that he was dead keen to move back to the A-league. HE was talking a lot about the Galaxy but as they have fallen over maybe we could nab him. He isn't total party boy anymore is he?

Too old, Too slow, well past "use by date", why not sign Van Nistlediver, he scored more than Yorke and is much younger.

I think we could get better "value" for that much money. Of course it'd be hard to find someone as goog as him...however, we could get someone a bit less-skillfull but much younger.
For example, why don't we try and snatch one of the up-coming youngsters of the A-League?
Michael Zullo or Robby Cruise just to name a couple..

They certainly are quality, they are barely in their 20's, if you manage to keep them, they can play for the Nix for 10years and will help with the play-offs hopes..
