Shame its a group match and not a 1/4 final.  We could have watched England choke on pens again.

nope, its true alright- the first U17 Womens match in Wgtn is the old WC rivalry of long ball Vs step overs- a dream fixture for the local organising commitee.

we also get Nzl Vs Colombia:

Well played.

Wonder how much tickets will be? And what crowd attendances will be like for certain games?

Its actually kind of sad the WC hasnt got much media coverage?

Banners up in town, draw live on sky.  Most clubs have ticket price brochures in the clubrooms.

Its actually quite cheap- something like $30 for a season pass, i.e. all games at the Stadium

A bargain really

That's not a bad price at all.  Does anybody know what games will be played in Christchurch?  I couldn't find it when I checked.  Cheers.

Scratch that - weird they're moving the groups around other cities after just 2 games though

it was a deal done to ensure NZl got spread around the country- trade off is that Korea PR play in Auckland- no trouble selling out the Stadium for that-

Great draw for Wellington fans to get some decent games and to support our Kiwi ladies. We'll have to give them a very warm Wellington welcome and support! that group ticket is an excellent deal.

Will yellow fever hit up the chants in the feverzone? There's a really even spread of the quarters and semis too around the country.
Oh Wellington is wonderful. We got the wind, the rain and the phoenix. Oh Wellington is wonderful.

Without consulting with any of the other Exec members I would say it is more likely than not that we'll spark up a few chants for the NZ game.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I'll definitely be going to the games up here. Any of those White Noise t-shirts left?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

White noise was a flop, I'm just being honest.

But this is a World Cup, let's turn it up.

I had a quality night, few beers, lost my voice.  All I ask for from a football match.

They did a poor job of it considering only one island gets NZ games.  Quite disappointed with it actually.

I bet there were lots of conditions attached to the draw

I supposed it's rigged to get the NZ games to what you could argue is the most important football cities in NZ - the one with the largest population (Auckland) and the one with the largest active fanbase (Wellington), in order to get maximum support. Like how RWC 2011 will see every All Blacks match played at Eden Park.

That being said, it is a kick in the nuts to the South Island, hopefully there'll be compensation in the form of some other NZ fixture outside of the tournament.
