This guy is a huge supporter of Australian football and its develpment.

Whats the chances of him coming back to play in the A League, i realise he still has the goods, but he could be signed as a marquee, the length of the season would suit his body which breaks regularly and he'd be a god in whatever club he joins eyes.

Possible.

Hes currently in the EPL. Would you want to give up that to come play  in the A-League?

Maybe when hes 36 years old  but he spends enough time on treatment table now as is...would hate to see how long he spends then

Allegedly

I read somewhere recently that Kewell has been linked with the formation of a second Sydney A League club in the next few years. File that one under Pure Speculation at this stage.

Anyway, Roma are currently very interested in him, seeing as he's on a free transfer from Liverpool. He's getting close to full fitness now and his game is really on-song.

How can he be getting close to full fitness i.e. not fully fit, but be on song.

Because he is that good a player that he doesn't have to be at 100% fitness to already be a stand out?

He was very good in the last couple of Socceroos WC qualifiers.

Agree with SC03, look at the champions league final that liverpoo won, he played in that game despite barely playing any football up to that point for months, showd the managers faith in his ability... or their lack of quality left sided midfielders.

He looked excellent against China.

Blinkers definitely, an eye patch no. Anyway, obviously Roma's medical insurers had the last word: Kewell's just signed for Galatasaray in Turkey. A kebab a day keeps the doctor away?

I heard that annouced on the news yesterday but it may not be correct.

No Galatasaray agreement for Liverpool's Kewell
tribalfootball.com - July 03, 2008

Released Liverpool attacker Harry Kewell remains a free agent.

Contrary to widespread media reports, tribalfootball.com has learned that Kewell has NOT signed anything with Galatasaray.

It's understood Kewell has two major offers on the table and is still weighing up his next move.

He has now confirmed he has signed a 2 year deal.
