I found the following article on SMH, Muscat should be the last person to complain about other players cheating... The guy can't tackle anyone without putting an elbow or knee in.

Not one mention of WPFC in that article. Relevance to this discussion thread?

There are 3 sub categories under the heading 'Wellington Phoenix and the Hyuandi A-League': Wellington Phoenix Discussion, News ("Talk about the news that is listed on YellowFever.co.nz") and Chants. It doesn't seem to fit into any of the others sub categories either, yet makes sense to have under the main category of 'Wellington Phoenix and the Hyundai A-League'.

He gets away with too much in my opinion.

I don't disagree that diving is cheating. I just find it amusing that Muscat is the one who comes out criticising other players for cheating as if he is some sort of Saint... If almost any other player in the A-League had made the same remark It wouldn't of being funny. Muscat is a thug who should be one of the last players to complain about how other players behave.

Don't forget it's a contact sport and they are on the park to challenge for the BALL, not the free kick or to get an Oscar.

Muscat doesn't just challenge for the ball, he often goes straight for the other player, or throws in an elbow while going for the ball.

I thought it was a safe bet bagging Muscat on a phoenix forum! It appears not, there must be someone else who hates him too?

Oh they hate him, but maybe they don't agree with the hypocrit assesment.

Fair enough.

At least Nathan Burns manager agrees with me.. from the news section today:

"'For a bloke who has a worldwide reputation for allowing his studs to do the talking, Mr Muscat's baseless criticism of Nathan is the height of hypocrisy,'Mandic said."
