JUNINHO is set to return to Captain Cook Country!
But this time its Australia, because Sydney FC are the latest club to court the legendary Brazilian star.
Sydney want 34-year-old Juninho to play for them in the new campaign after failing to lure former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler Down Under.
Juninho is currently in-between clubs since being sacked by Brazilian club Flamengo in May.
He had an argument with coach Ney Franco after refusing to be substituted at half-time during a 3-0 quarter-final defeat at Uruguayan side Defensor Sporting in the Copa Libertadores.
Juninho was approached by Hull City last month and met up with manager Phil Brown, though the two clubs were unable to reach an agreement over a potential return to England.
Now Sydney, who originally made a move for the midfielder last month, have renewed their interest.
According to Juninhos agent, the Brazilian is keen on a move to Australia as he has previously developed an affinity for the country.
However Sydney coach Frank Lowy has competition for Juninhos signature, as clubs in Brazil and Qatar have also expressed interest.
Its more than likely that Juninho will be moving abroad again, so if the Sydney move fails to materialise, then the Middle East looks a potential destination.
