C'mon guys, us vs Juventus would have sold out, they are a far larger club then the Galaxy.
But they don't have a Beckham. Whether we like it or not our football is VERY anglocentric, much more than even Australia's (despite Craig Foster's bigotted clap trap). A city 1/10th the size of Melbourne with a devout, but small Italian contingent - many who hate Juventus - would be a significant risk and highly unlikely to justify the cost.
If Juve were wearing the costs then try it as an experiment, if Terry has to pay for it out of his pocket and only 10k turn up ? He and the club are screwed.
Totally agree.
Besides, between the European Cup and the Olympic Games, perhaps they will be able to field their Reserves of the Reserves for a game in OZ!
