I like this kid - he's a good 'un.
While they rave about Michael Zullo at Queensland Roar, I believe this lad's the better prospect of the two. During his first season in the A-League, I made a point of getting in touch with LFC and alerting them to his potential - that's an indication of how highly I rate him, 'cause there are sod-all players operating in this area of the world who merit such communication.
If he's recruited, does this mean we're actually going to see Wellington playing a brand of football which excites people in the coming campaign?
Halle-bloody-lujah! 'Cause the dire excuse for football which was all too frequently served up last season had me wondering every once in a while if Wellington was Everton in a change kit!! Bloody awful to watch - no wonder the crowds dwindled!!
Young Kruse will help to change that situation for the better, no question!
Cheers,
JR

JR there is quite a lot of debate about the merits (or lack thereof) relating to Mr Kruse in the transfer thread in the main forum.

James,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe this story appears on the news threads on Yellow Fever. Therefore, per the forum criteria for this section, it is appropriate to comment upon it here, regardless of wherever else it may be on the site.I don't have the time to waste wading through the forums finding threads which may be of interest to me, or which may be linked to stories which appear on the front page.
Perhaps this suggests it may be necessary to fine-tune the forum criteria.
Cheers,
JR

In my opinion the kid has talent but I absolutely hate him while he's playing in e Clogs top. He'd look great in stripes I reckon...
Kruse and Barba up fromt with Leo and Diego feeding from the wings with Greenacre behind then to feed on the scraps!!!
Giddy Up!!!

Yes, and wrong.
I operate on the bare minimum of sleep, Coll. It's not unknown for me to still be up at 5am working on football projects, ten hours after resuming them, then be on the road for a full day at the office 2.5 hours later.

But always a spare couple of minutes to post some self-congratulation.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Coming from someone sporting a caricature of "The Special One" as his picture, Smithy ... gotta love the irony!! :-))
Thanks for the suggestion, Mr Greene, the latter aspect of which has long been in practice!! :-))

JR I wouldnt waste my time replying to James Dean.
I hoping to get to a few Nix's trainings this week. Anyone know when Kruse arrives to trail?
I'm hoping we sign the lad, he'd be way better than the waste of time guys, Gao & Brownlie, we had to put up with last season.
Enjoy Newcastle getting thumped tonight mate
A dog with a bone :)
