YF a mate sent me these links and at first I tho this is all BS ......... or a bad joke he is playing on me and therefore time for me to send around a cement truck.

They come from I think from total football on foxsports and possible new shirts designs .......... don't think they are next years but in discussion for year after .............

However THB not actually sure ............ but they have a fox link .........so does mean anything other than off season random stuff to keep people talking... take as you will I am not saying this is it ............. just what is being talked about

They were talking about the Victory changing their strip for the ACL games. The concensus from the Total Football panel was that the Victory should have kept their V on the shirt as they felt that it was the best strip in the A-League.

So they then went through the other teams with some ideas of what their strips could possibly look like.

The panel agreed that each club should be able to design their own strip, Mr Harper did state that Wellington should have the stripes in their shirts.

The options shown for the Phoenix aren't much. The YF contributors to the various forums we've had on this over the last 18 months have come up with far superior designs.

All of these are preferable to the current crop of templated dross.

Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

For the Nix, swap "C" for "A" and the whole lot would be better than the boring and un-inspiring efforts of the last few seasons.

How dare they nick a QPR top though. Bad enough to have Reading doing it.

My opinions:

Marines: All 3 look arse, current one is much better - they're CCM, not the West Coast Eagles lol.

Melbourne: Current one is great, don't change it.

Newcastle: Anything thats not brown (sorry, "gold") is a great improvement.

Perth: Current one is fine.

Queensland: A, mostly marron, would be great.

Sydney: No problem with their current kit really.

Wellington: Vertical stripes FTW, but thats a pretty average example.

Adelaide: So great already they didn't make a suggestion for it.

I think the main point though is that clubs should have more input than they do. Like Melbourne.
