Anyone else royally p*ssed off that ESPN didn't show the Celtic v Arse CL play-off game at Parkhead the other day?  Seems that televising Romanian teams with unknown names is a higher priority.

Delayed coverage on ESPN at midnight tonight (Thursday).

Would much prefer to have seen what was surely the drawcard fixture in the round live, though.

Cheers,

I would imagine Sky doesn't have much control over what is shown on ESPN who are the rightsholders.

It's funny - on Croatian forums they're complaining how they had to watch the boring Celtic v Arsenal game rather than Sporting v Fiorentina.

Guess they showed it because of Eduardo, but since he didn't play, there's a few pissed off people. Guess a 'game of the round' is all a matter of perspective.el grapadura2009-08-21 09:18:06

Makes it even sillier really - there are even more people in Australia who would've watched that game than there are here!

Anyone know if the 2nd leg will be on?

Hardly worth showing at all, two crap teams anyway.

they listed the games that will be aired on the www.espn.com.au website yet, probably up by Monday.
