seems to be no problem for a french setup to enter in to an asian league. Whats the big deal with nix?

For starters, they are actually based in Singapore, not playing in Paris.

Also, they will be full of Singaporean players, not French ones.

I think they will be full of french players as other teams playing in the s League have been. I'm also not sure AFC are to worried about what country the nix play in, they are more concerned with the amount of non Asian players turning out each week.
Could be worth keeping an eye on

They're all French players I believe and where they play shouldn't matter.

At least the Nix playing in Australia makes sense considering the close geographic, cultural, historical and sporting links between NZ and Australia.

A French team playing in Singapore and a Malaysian team playing in Europe is mickey mouse.

You know how the FFA wants the Nix to play under 'Australian rules' which would make Kiwi's imports, what about all these frogs?  And what about all the other foreign teams to play in the S-League including Japanese teams, Korean team (from memory) and several others?  Sure the latter two are the same confederation but that still isn't under 'Singaporean Law'.

Or does Singapore not care about imports?  Even if they don't I thought it had become an AFC policy?

Let's not forget the Malaysians playing in Slovakia.
