"They wanted an absolute arm and a leg and flying the whole party business-class from Scotland, plus the match fee they wanted, you're talking $500,000 before you've done anything," Glading said.
"You get a rainy night here and only 10,000 people turn up, and all of a sudden we're broke again.
"I am at a loss to understand Mr Glading's comments and, indeed, have asked for clarification from his federation.
"Craig Levein, the new national team manager, has already made clear his intention not to arrange a friendly international match at the end of the current domestic season as part of his strategy to ensure a positive Euro 2012 qualification campaign on all fronts.
"The Scottish FA has had no direct negotiations with the New Zealand Football Federation and, thus, has never demanded 'an arm and a leg' for a friendly match we have not scheduled in our fixture calendar."
China wanted the match there I think.
Don't have to be world beaters, just get someone.
if there is going to be a friendly, surely it makes more sense to play it is Europe or even the states. The A league will be finished so there will be no problem getting players from there away, although there will no doubt be problems getting Europe and possibly states based players away. Not much point having a game with only half of the squad there.
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight
Only once though.
