Ok the front page article says that the FFA plans for a FFA Cup based on the English FA Cup which will be happen soon. It has suggest that the 24th team in the FFA tournament will maybe a non- A-league NZ team.

So I am thinking that it would be the current NZFC winners and not particularly be the best performing O-League NZ team. I would not like it to be NZFC selection team. I will even settle for a winner of the playoffs between a Central, Southern and Northern teams than a NZFC selection team tbh.

Anyway. . . discuss.

i have a feeling they'll give it to the NZFC chanp as opposed to the Chatham cup winner (IF they even put another kiwi team in there)

CC = club competition, clubs = feeders for NZFC...thats my reasoning for my above opinion

Can't see it happening... or at least happenning in the next ten years.

Imagine the whining if Melbourne Knights (as an example) turned over an A-League club and the clamour for them to return to the Aus national League ?

Something the new administrators want absolutely nothing to do with.

How's my driving? - Whine here

A-league still only just getting onto it's feet, be daft of the FFA to start something like this so soon. And the FFA would also ave to deal with all the state associations, and thats a headache they would not want.Nestling2008-05-12 13:05:21
