Interesting article, Ricki comes in at 13th. Basically on the premise that after June his influence not so great but until then will be massive.

For me the head of SPARC should have been ahead of Snedden, so many sports rely so massively on SPARC for their existence but in saying that organisations, cities, regions all want to get in on a piece of the World Cup pie and Snedden is the one pulling the strings of that.

What do people think?

So sad that you cannot get more football influence in the media...quite pissed off when in his comment on Ricki he said in six months it will all be forgotten ...

It will, as we are unlikely to play any meaningful internationals for another 3 years. No continental cup as WC Quals double as this for OFC, confed cup now only every four years.

So Ricki is not having any influence when he coaching the only NZ professional team in Association Football?? Nor will he be able to have influence on getting international friendlies against strong countries in FIFA international window?? The 2-3 lost against Italy in a friendly had the nation talking and TV had live coverage on. Are you totally sure that it will be nothing for three years???

Not saying its right, but yes, in the NZ scene, that is pretty worthless, thus no power to broke.
