I'm very pissed off that TVNZ will not be screening any NZ men's or women's Olympic football matches on TV One but only on "Freeview" (which costs $200 for a receiver) which only about 5% of the population have. No pubs that I know of have "Freeview" either. So, most of us won't see any NZ teams in Olympic football action which really sucks!
I suggest all you fellow irate fans jam the phone switchboards at your local TVNZ office and e-mail the sods at tvnz.co.nz (click on to "contact us" at bottom of homepage).
There's no excuse for not broadcasting games such as the Oly-Whites opener on Thurday night at 11.45pm when nothing else is on TV.
Suggest people also boycott TVNZ and watch TV 3 news etc. in future if situation doesn't change. Useless philistines!

That's pathetic.
You should still be able to watch on the internet, CCTV has done deals with half a dozen web streaming sites, so even if NBC is restricted to the USA only you should still be able to view on a Chinese site (albeit with Chinese commentary).

Apparently TVNZ has 4 live streaming channels on their olympics website.
Surely that's enough to do live feeds of the games.

Unfortunately, watching live streaming on the internet is not an option for me as I don't have broadband. Even a mate of mine who does says his broadband speed is too slow to allow this option and then you also can't record the games to watch at more convenient times either.

Well just to rub it in SBS in Australia are showing the NZ v Brazil game.
